In spite of receiving numerous votes in an online poll, It is unlikely that Fort Wayne‘s new government center will be named after the city’s longest tenured mayor.
Deputy Mayor Beth Malloy said naming it the “Harry Baals Government Center” was probably not going to happen because, “We’re not going to make any decisions that look bad.”
Sometimes jokes just write themselves...
