"Politicians never accuse you of 'greed' for wanting other people's money -- only for wanting to keep your own money."
- columnist Joe Sobran (1946-2010)
Food for thought: How can NOT raising taxes be considered a tax CUT? The present administration keeps trying to justify "not extending the Bush tax cuts." Those "cuts" were what...ten years ago? Safe to say they aren't cuts at this point. What they are proposing is a massive tax HIKE. Period! They seem to have forgotten that this is OUR money, and not theirs to "let us keep" or "take away" at their pleasure.
I remember something I heard a long time ago...something about "the consent of the governed?" "We the People"? "I can remember the days when they were known as "Public Servants"...instead of "Public Officials."
Just something to think about...
